What you’ll do
Tickets to the Ghibli Museum are extremely difficult for foreign visitors to Japan to obtain. Even if you manage to visit, there are no translated versions of the artworks. Photography is also prohibited inside the museum, so the translation function is unavailable. That’s why we recommend joining this English-language guided tour. Since the ticket is not a resale ticket, there’s no need to worry about being denied entry. The museum is located within a popular natural park in Tokyo, so the tour also includes a 30-minute walking tour from the station to the museum.
Meet at Kichijoji Station. The road from Kichijoji Station to the museum runs through the Inogashira park. Please enjoy the walking tour about a 30-minute walk. After entering the museum, 30-minute English-language guided tour. The guide ends here, but there’s no set end time. Enjoy your time here, including visiting the cute cafe and souvenir shop, until closing time at 6:00 pm.
Caution: In the event of bad weather such as a typhoon, only the walking tour will be canceled and we’ll be taken by bus(Please pay the bus fare of about 210 yen per person). The tour charge no refunds will be given in such cases.
